Overview

Zero trust architecture (ZTA) is a design and implementation strategy for IT systems that assumes no user or device is trustworthy by default, even if they are connected to a privileged network. This approach is also known as perimeterless security or de-perimeterization. ZTA is implemented by establishing identity verification, validating device compliance, and ensuring least privilege access to authorized resources. The traditional approach of trusting users and devices within a corporate perimeter is no longer sufficient in today's complex corporate networks.
